My daughters and I love wearing tank tops in the summer. They are comfortable, light weight and allow you to get a little sun. What I don’t like about wearing tank tops is they always show my bra straps – this was the rage a year or so ago, that I never jumped into, and neither have my daughters.
Personally I have tried strapless= no support and clear straps=uncomfortable plastic over your shoulders. When I’ve looked at specialty bras, they’re expensive, and often would only work for one top=not worth it. Or worse yet make your straps visible in the front, making the whole situation even worse!
So the other day my almost 13 year old daughter and I were shopping at Bed Bath and Beyond, when we stopped to look at the “As Seen on TV” section. My daughter spy’s the hot pink box containing Strap Perfect – The Ultimate Bra Strap Solution. She begs me to buy them. I look the box over, honestly, I had never heard of them.
The box contains 6 concealer clips (2 clear, 2 nude, 2 black) as well as a packet of invisible style tape. Strap Perfect promises to conceal bra straps by working with your favorite bra, great for all styles of tops and add a full cup size instantly!….ALL of this for $10! Yep, that was a lot of promises from a tinsy little plastic clip, but I figured we could both use them, and $10 wasn’t going to break the bank.
As soon as we got home my daughter busted open the box and had one on her bra in no time. She had an easy enough time putting it on herself, but asked me to help adjust it in the back. She quickly realized it was a little snug on her back, so we loosened her bra straps and she was good to go! Worked wonders under her tank top.
The following day I thought I’d give it a try. Like my daughter, I had no problem putting the concealer clip on to the back of my bra, and I remembered to loosen my straps before I did it. Made a few adjustments and my straps were completely out of site under my tank top AND I felt like I had a little more lift and support, even with the slightly stretched out bra I had on! Did it add a full cup size? I doubt it, but the lift alone was nice and made it an added extra bonus!
No one likes looking at unsightly bra straps, so I think that the Strap Perfect Clips are an absolute must…plus they make “the girls” look better! Haha! What’s not to love? I think it is at least worth a try just for the pure thrill of being able to wear tops you’ve never been able to wear before.

Ha – this is a little pet peeve of mine, akin to a slip showing out the bottom of a dress. I’ll have to try these but honestly, I don’t have any tanks that are racerback enough to need them, really; most of my tanks already cover my straps…
Jess, yes it’s comfortable once you loosen your straps, you don’t even feel the clip.
Moriah, all of my tank tops are the regular kind, but my straps seem to make the occasional appearance from underneath when I move around.

I’m so excited to hear that they really work! I’ve seen them advertised many times, but as with most “As seem on TV” items, I was rather skeptical of them. I am NOT a fan of showing off my bra straps and this seemed like the perfect solution. I’m getting some for sure! 🙂 Thanks for sharing about them!
My mother-in-law uses these and swears by them. She says they are a great rescue for bras that the straps are too stretched out to wear anymore and she wears them under regular tops. That’s worth the money in itself!
I LOVE my Strap Perfect! I didn’t expect them to hide my bra straps as much as they did – but WOW! I’ve worn them under a bunch of different tops, and they work so good. And the added lift is great – I sometimes even use them when I don’t have to, just to get the lift! DO remember to loosen your bra straps though first – if I leave it too tight, my shoulders/back get really sore from the tension by the end of the day. If you haven’t bought them yet, GO NOW. You won’t regret it!
