I’ve been trying to use some more organic and natural products for my skin. While I try to mostly eat this way, I find it difficult to find all-natural products that I like for the outside of my body that are actually affordable.
If you have a Whole Foods near you, I’ve got the deal of the century for you.
For a mere $2.99-3.99 per 16 oz. bottle (depending on your area) you can have paraben-free lotions and shower gels made with essential oils that smell great!
Pictured here is the lavender which my daughter uses and I have the Herbal Mint. I LOVE it. It gives a nice tingly feeling, goes on smooth but thick and keeps my skin smooth all day long. The scent is nice but doesn’t overpower at all.
The website describes these two scents as:
Our Herbal Mint body lotion, with sesame see, jojoba seed and vitamin E oils, softens and smooths your skin, while peppermint essential oil leaves a clean, refreshing scent.
Our lavender blend body lotion, with sesame seed, jojoba seed and vitamin E oils, leaves your skin soft and smooth, while lavender essential oil leaves a clean, calming scent.
I’ve also had an additional benefit from the lotion that I did not plan on but for which I am very happy! Recently, I started becoming pretty sensitive to certain lotions. It seemed as if I would actually itch more after putting them on than them doing what they are intended to do which is keep itchy skin at bay. Often, I’d wake in the middle of the night itching like crazy and have to shower to feel better. Thankfully, I have not had the itching since I started using this lotion!
I’ve used this shower gel before in the Citrus Grapefruit scent. I like it as well and it lasted FOREVER.
Our citrus grapefruit shower gel, with aloe vera and soothing allantoin, softens your skin while grapefruit essential oil leaves a clean, refreshing scent.
Both of these products are found in the Whole Foods 365 Everyday Value product line. That is Whole Foods store brand and I have to say that I like most of the 365 products. All of the body care products come in the scents, Lavender, Herbal Mint, Citrus Orange and Unscented. Best of all, they are actually more affordable than most shower gels and body lotions I can buy at my local big box store.
These are the things these products do not have in them:
- Parabens
- Sodium Lauryl Sulfate
- Sodium Laureth Sulfate
- Artificial Frangrance
- Animal Ingredients and also no animal testing.
To see a full ingredient list of the products you can click on the Whole Foods Website or click on any of the photos above to take you to that product.
Unfortunately, the only way I can see to purchase these products is to visit your local Whole Foods store or find a friend who can ship them to you. I think shipping will cost you more, though!

Thanks for the tip Janel! I need to go to WF this week anyway. I’ll definitely be grabbing some of that lotion! I love lavender and my current lotion is almost gone. Thanks again!
Thanks for the heads up! I, too, eat that way but haven’t found beauty products yet. Thaht’s a great deal.
I love their shampoo. I will have to try the lotion now.
I love the 365 products! I’ll have to give the shower gel & lotion a try!
