At My Bathroom Sink

Is there anything more coveted in the world than beautiful skin?

We pore in the mirror over it, we obsess over the products that will help us achieve it, and we write endless blog posts about it.

For the next two weeks, all the ladies here at Chic Critique are going to be sharing their skin care routines.

Fortunately for me, I have very clear skin. Unfortunately for me, I have intensely sensitive skin. So although I don’t need many products to make my skin behave, I don’t have the option to use many fancy treatments.

For cleansing my face and removing makeup, I use Clean & Clear Foaming Facial Cleanser for Sensitive Skin. It cleans my skin well without leaving any residue behind.

Clean & Clear Foaming Facial CleanserFor under $4 at Target (cheaper than Wal-Mart!) – it’s perfect. Clean skin and nothing more.

The only other completely essential item I use for my skin is moisturizer. I have tried every one on the market. I started at the high-end of the market and was just about broke when a dermatologist gave me a sample of Vanicream. Little did I know it was technically body cream.

Vanicream Skin CreamThis product is thick. Much thicker than any other face product I’ve ever used. The key to using such a thick cream is consistency. My skin no longer produces as much oil because it isn’t dry and flaky. The cream has actually “trained” my skin to produce less oil. I definitely have fewer breakouts and pimples than I did before using this cream.

My last product is a once-in-a-blue-moon product due to the aforementioned sensitivity. I love Clinique’s 7 Day Scrub Cream. It’s a fantastic exfoliator that isn’t too harsh.

7 Day Scrub CreamAs you read through the ladies’ posts over the next week or so, we want to know what you love!

So, I’m dying to know – what’s on your bathroom sink?
