Homemade Spa

I LOVE getting spa treatments…the relaxation, the pampering…it is such a treat. My husband and I have really tightened our belts, though, so spa treatments are just not in the cards right now. It is nice to take the time to perform a spa treatment on yourself, but it is much more fun if someone else pampers you. For that reason, my husband and I have decided that we will have spa night. He is probably not going to be happy with me for putting this out for the world to see:) That’s okay. He won’t care once he gets his skin scrubbed down with my homemade scrub. You can make a really inexpensive scrub from products that you find at the grocery store. You can use either coarse sea salt or turbinado sugar.

It smells like the beach, and contains aloe vera and other nutrients. Another good thing to use is organic virgin coconut oil or baby oil. If you are looking for a certain smell or some aromatherapy, try some essential oils in the scent of your choice.
That’s it. Mix this and keep it in a glass or plastic jar. This scrub with make your body feel smooth and moisturized. A little inexpensive pampering can make you feel like a million bucks!!
