Old Navy: Dresses

Old Navy is always a hit or a miss with me, but this year {the year that I’m pregnant, and can’t really take advantage, of course} I’m really into the dresses they’ve introduced as part of their spring/summer collection.

Some of my favorites:

Halter Tea-Length Dress: on sale right now for $25!

I’m a big fan of slipping into something light and comfy after a long day at the beach {my days at the beach are loooong – I don’t mess around}. This dress is perfect for just such an occasion. Even if you happen to forget to reapply your suntan lotion and you burn a smidge {I never do that, never} this dress stays far enough from your skin that you’re not in pain with every step. I especially love the ruching detail at the bust and the ruffled hem too – very feminine, but not overly so.

Chiffon-Sleeve Jersey Dress: on sale right now for $25!

The end of spring/beginning of summer is Graduation Season. Don’t you think this dress is just perfect for a Grad party? The ruffle sleeves are adorable and definitely “dress up” this dress. Paired with a pair of  sandals and a great necklace and you’re on your way!

Embroidered Sundress: on sale right now for $25!

Is it just me, or does this dress make you want to twirl in a big field of green grass? Just me?

Moving on.

This dress has it all – feminine detail, summer party potential, daytime picnic potential, and 100% cotton. This is the perfect summer dress. Throw on a cardigan when the nights get chilly and you’ve gone from daytime to evening seamlessly. Sigh.

How bad do you think I’ll look if I try to fit my bump under one of those dresses? Should I just walk away while I still have my dignity intact?

I thought so.

  1. Ahhhhh, now I want to go shopping. And be tan. And spend the day at the beach. We bring the coffee in the morning and don’t leave till we are in danger of starving from not eating dinner. 🙂
