Lancome Visionnaire

Has your skin brought you to the end of your rope? Are you about ready to start researching peels, lasers and even cosmetic surgery?

Wait. Try Visionnaire by Lancôme.

When Jo-Lynne and I attended a Stylist Luncheon at Neiman Marcus to kick off the Fall 2011 Trends, we met the cosmetics manager and she could not even contain her excitement about this product. We brought home samples to try and let me tell you — this stuff is amazing.

Much more than a wrinkle-corrector, our 1st skincare capable of fundamentally re-creating more beautiful skin. The first skincare with LR 2412, a molecule designed to propel through skin layers. On its path, it triggers a cascading series of micro-transformations.**
The result: on the surface, wrinkles* and pores* are visibly corrected, imperfections like signs of UV damage and acne marks appear diminished. —Lancome.com

Basically, Visionnaire is billed as an ‘advanced skin corrector serum,’ so it can reduce wrinkles, minimize pores, correct pigmentation irregularities and restore radiance. Those are some big claims for such a small bottle. Visionnaire contains a revolutionary new beauty molecule: LR 2412 is multi-tasking because it has multiple effects within different areas of the skin. It’s been proven to be as effective as retinol, but more gentle on the skin so it can be used around the eyes, and even on the most sensitive skin types.

My skin felt velvety and smooth and within a week, my pores were less noticeable and my skin tone was evening. WOW. I love the scent and it goes on smoothly right under my moisturizer. I can not believe how immediate the results are. And its been just one week.

The only downside? The price. At $84 for one ounce, it’s steep. (Not to mentioned backordered 5 weeks on NeimanMarcus.com!)

disclosure: i received samples to facilitate this post. as always, all opinions are my own.

  1. How long do you think one ounce would last based on your use of the samples? I need help buy I’m not sure if I could justify $84 unless it lasted a long time.

    • Beth: In my experience an ounce should last anywhere from 2-4 months depending on how many times you apply it each day. I usually use it twice a day, at least in the summer, once a day at other times of year when the temperatures aren’t hot and lifestyle less active. You can definitely find better deals than $84 an ounce on eBay. One suggestion would be to buy a smaller size at first for a lower price and discover if it is the best product for you.

      Hope that helps!!

      • For me, one ounce will last about 4 months, But I only use it at night. You only need a tiny dot for your whole face, which is awesome!

  2. Helpful tip is to check eBay for deals on Visionnaire. I got an incredible deal on a combo of Visionnaire and Genifique for only $40 for one ounce. Typically Visionnaire is around $85 for an ounce.

Love the product. RIght when you think Lancome can’t get any better, they introduce a new anti-aging serum that outdoes Genifique.
