How to Wear Stripes if You’re Not Skinny

There are some really cute stripes out there. Sweaters, dresses, t-shirts. Bold, bright, zig-zags. Have you seen the celebrities?

That’s more like it!

And against my better judgment, I’ve tried some on. If you’re not tall and/or skinny, it’s pretty hard to pull off. And you’ve gathered that I am not tall and/or skinny by now, right? But I learned that I can wear stripes. Here’s how:

About Grace {Blackbelt Oma}

Grace has a blackbelt in shopping, but not taekwon-do. She is keenly aware of God having given us the guardianship of the earth and supports responsible farming, distribution and consumerism.

She plans to write posts that would be of particular interest to the East Asian, and/or the 50-ish and/or the over-25 BMI crowd. Not that she'd know anything about that.

  1. I think if you love it you should wear it. I love stripes in every which direction. LOL
    But that Rachel Covey top in the bottom left is awesome — it doesn’t even look like stripes.

  2. I totally bucked the rules and rocked horizontal stripes today…in spite of my baby bump. Ha! Love those scarves!
