Jessica Biel’s Pink Wedding Dress

Justin Timberlake was the heartthrob du jour during my formative pre-teen years, so it’s not my fault I’m obsessed with curious to learn the details of his wedding to Jessica Biel.

Did you know he serenaded his bride as she walked down the aisle with an original piece he composed just for her? Swoon.

But let’s move on to the really important things. Have you seen her gorgeous dress?

The full photo shoot is not yet available online, but so far I’ve seen this People Magazine cover, and I love it. While admittedly I adore traditional white bridal gowns,  this pink Giambattista Valli gown is perfect for the new Mrs. Timberlake. Mr. Valli also created the veil she wore, made of her own heirloom pearls.

Jessica is not the first celebrity bride to wear pink on her wedding day. Gwen Stefani wore a pink John Galliano dress on her big day, and Reese Witherspoon chose a pink Monique Lhuillier dress for her wedding to Jim Toth. Most recently, Anne Hathaway wore a hand-painted pink Valentino bridal gown.

What do you think about pink bridal gowns? Yay or nay?

P.S. How cute is Justin? I mean, really. Who wouldn’t want a former teenage heartthrob jumping for joy at the thought of getting to marry you?

P.P.S. Am I the only one who finds it a bit odd to see Britney Spears sharing magazine cover space with her former beau? I may or may not have wasted many years hoping those two would reconcile…

  1. I love Jessica’s dress. I am not against different color choices for bridal wear. Why should the bridesmaids get all the color fun. The traditional wedding dress has not really evolved too much it is time it did no?

I think the Brittany spot was probably on purpose.

I swooned a little when you said he wrote and sang a song for her as she walked down the isle. Too romantic!

It looks gorgeous! I can’t wait to see all the pics!

  3. Jessica’s pink wedding own loks positively delicious! I think brides should pick the color of dress they’re most fond of or flatters them the most. The days of white signaling purity are over. My Mother was married in a pink wedding gown 58 yrs. ago and it is still one of the most beautiful gowns I’ve ever seen.

People missed it with that awful picture and headline featuring Brittney Spears. They messed with a gorgeous cover full of beautiful, happy women and added a piece of trash! What was in THAT editor’s head!
