Earlier this month, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited St. George’s Park for the official opening of the Football (soccer, for us Americans) Association’s new facility in Burton-Upton-Trent in Staffordshire.
With town names like that, I don’t think I could help but enjoy high tea every day if I lived in England.
Thanks to the Duchess Kate blog, I discovered that Kate’s lovely gray coat is the Reiss Angel Fit and Flare from their Autumn/Winter 2010 collection. She accessorized with the Betony belt from Reiss’ Spring/Summer 2009 collection.
It’s not the first time Duchess Catherine has worn Reiss publicly. Her famous blue engagement dress was a Reiss design, and she wore Reiss again when meeting with the Obamas in 2011.
Of course none of these pieces are currently available online, but in case you have the budget to shop like a princess, Reiss does offer free shipping to the US for purchases over $300.
Because I love anything that highlights the waist and camouflages the hips, I was inspired by Duchess Kate’s choice to find a few similar “fit and flare” gray coats. Enjoy!
