A few weeks ago, we got the dreaded letter. The “There is a lice outbreak in your child’s class” letter.
I freaked out. We had lice last year and it was AWFUL beyond belief. A few tips for a lice scare in your school?
- Check the kids for lice daily. (Actually, I did more than daily. I was worried.)
- Started washing our hair every day with Lice Repelling Shampoo, like Fairy Tales Rosemary Repel Shampoo and Conditioner.
- Use Lice Repelling Spray. I use Fairy Tales Rosemary Repel Spray.
- Washed all of our pillowcases every day (and put pillows in a hot dryer for 10 minutes).
This time we were lucky, and so far the kids are doing fine and are lice-free. But honestly, it is all Fairy Tales. We love it and use it all the time – lice outbreak or not. We use the Rosemary Repel Hair Spray everyday as a detangler when we do their hair. It makes my kids hair silky and soft without any pesticides, chemicals or toxins and its formulated without dairy, nut oil, soy and gluten. And it works great on my hair! Mommies can get lice too, you know. Make sure that you are taking care of your own hair as well! I love how my hair feels with Fairy Tales.
