I confess: I LOVE shopping for school supplies.
New notebooks and folders. A fresh planner. Binder clips. (I have a serious thing for binder clips.) And new pens.
I LOVE pens. I have an entire drawer full in my desk!
I firmly believe I can never had too many pens. Partly because my daughters have inherited my pen obsessed gene, so they are always stealing them from me. But also because they are just fun. I actually write in my planner with a different color for every family member.
Cause that’s how I roll.
I love this new like of BIC pens and pencils just for kids. My son is going into first grade and he struggles with his “power pinch”. This line actually is designed with teachers to help with proper finger position and is designed ergonomically for kids’ hands. Proper grip is SO important when learning to write. I love this WHOLE line! So does Colin:
My older girls love… well, they love everything. But they are DYING over the 4-in-1 Fashion Pens. Remember these, guys? They are totally blown away with this ‘new technology’. I don’t have the heart to tell them I had those when I was a kid.
When you’re shopping for supplies this year, remember to pick up a bunch of pens and pencils for your kid’s classroom teachers! The average teacher spends over $500 on classroom supplies over the course of a year! If every parent picked up a few extra supplies, it would make a HUGE difference for your school.
