Sephora Friends and Family 2009

Sephora is pretty much any beauty junkie’s dream. Aisles and aisles of higher-end beauty products ripe for the picking.

On the other hand, it’s also my nightmare. I can run in there for a simple eyeshadow and come out with well over $100 worth of products in 15 minutes. Not exactly wallet-friendly, if you know what I mean.

Enter Sephora Friends and Family 2009. Going on now through November 2nd, you can recieve 20% of almost any item (excluding gift cards) at Sephora.com.

Why yes, I’ll take that as permission to splurge a little bit, thank you very much.

So what’s on my list?

First up, DiorShow Iconic Mascara, $27.

Generally, I could in no way justify spending $27 on a mascara that will need to be replaced in a month or two…. but for 20% off I think I can splurge on it.

Next up, I thought I deserved a sweet treat: Philosophy 3-in-1 Shampoo/Shower Gel/Bubble Bath in Red Velvet Cake, $16.

My mouth is watering just thinking about it. Yum.

And while I haven’t ordered the first two items yet, this one should be landing on my doorstep this afternoon: TheBalm Hot Mama Blush, $19.

I had been thinking about replacing my beloved Nars Orgasm blush for a while when I stumbled onto Hot Mama. The Hot Mama compact holds about twice as much as the Nars compact and was $6 cheaper… so I figured it was worth a shot.

I will be giving it the full review here on Chic Critique so stay tuned.
