brand love: spratters and jayne

Hi, My name is Melissa and I love scarves!

I have… wait let me count… Oh. My. Gosh. I have 23 scarves! (Not even counting winter scarves!) That's a little embarrassing. In my defense, my mother-in-law lives in India is always bringing me pashminas. (8 of those scarves were pashminas.)

As I was saying, I love scarves. They are such a great way to perk up jeans and a cardigan, add a splash of color to a black sweater dress, and just give you a polished look. I throw one on at least three times a week.

My new scarf I'm coveting from Spratters and Jayne:

Now, first off wouldn't this muted lavender color look fabulous with my new charcoal grey peacoat? I know, right?

This looks so comfy and soft!

I love that Spratters and Jayne are hand-made by a women's co-op of crocheters outside of Lima and Peru, where Spratters & Jayne's signature ultra-soft, high-grade Merino/Highland Wool is produced. Keeping in line with their ideals, creator Rachel Warner continues to travel to Peru every year to ensure a fair work environment and promote green production. I have such a soft spot for companies that are helping empower women – makes me love their fabulous creations even more!
