Working out can be no fun (unless you’re one of those crazy people who thinks exercise is fun. Whatever.) BUT a cute workout outfit is makes working out almost bearable!!
When you look good, you’ll feel good!
First off, get thee a sports bra. This is a non-negotiable. If you have to work out in old clothes from college, wear a sports bra! It doesn’t have to be super pricey to take care of the girls. The C9 collection at Target has great sports bras and most are around $10-12.
For bottoms, go with a dark flare – its the most slimming and more flattering than a capri or long legging. Flares helps balance out hips. The Runabout Pant by Athleta is famous for its flattering profile and reflective detailing for a flicker effect. Pair with black sneakers to elongate the leg and create a clean line.
And don’t miss out on pants that can do so much more than just look slimming. Tons of workout pants can really slim you! Old Navy’s compression line is lovely – the super smooth compression fabric is super slimming and looks great.
For a top, go with a pretty bright color to give yourself energy. Fitted is better – baggy tshirts have a tendency to cling in all the wrong places and emphesize exactly what you are trying to hide. Go with a fitted tee –
