Summer Hair Care: Fairy Tales Shampoo and Conditioner

We’ve talked about this before, but spending time in the pool will do a number on our hair. Fortunately my hair doesn’t turn green in the summer, but too much fun in the sun does leave my hair hard and brittle.

Enter Fairy Tales Lifeguard Clarifying Shampoo and Lemon-Aid Conditioner.

Despite the name, these are not just for kids. They remove sea salt, chlorine green, and daily build-up with gentle fruit extracts. Then vitamins and minerals restore softness, boost shine, and protect hair. Exactly what kids of every age need in the summer months.

The Lifeguard Clarifying Shampoo has orange flower extract, grapefruit, and lemon to gently cleanse damaged hair, and aloe and jojoba to restore moisture and detangle.

Plus it smells wonderful and it’s color safe for moms.

The Lemon-Aid Conditioner is a deep-cleansing treatment with vitamins E and B to restore moisture and shine for tangle-free hair. Loaded with natural extracts and rich, creamy moisturizers to deep clean and condition even the most sun and chlorine-damaged hair.

The lemonade scent is incredibly refreshing, but don’t worry, you won’t smell like lemonade all day.

I didn’t discover these until mid summer last year, but this year I’ve got a head start. I’m thrilled to keep my hair soft and smooth all summer long, even with my daily dips in the pool.
