New! Burt’s Bees Lip Gloss

Burt's Bees Nature Knows Color Lip

Have you tried the new Burt’s Bees lip glosses? I’ve long been a fan of their lip shimmers, but recently wanted something with a little more coverage so decided to check these out.

Burt's Bees Lip Gloss Evening Glow

First of all, I love that they have a lip shade finder on their site, since it’s impossible to try on the different shades at the grocery store. But unlike so many lip shade finders, this one actually works. After answering four simple questions, they matched me up with Evening Glow, which perfectly suited my skin tone.

Like any lip gloss, it won’t last much longer than a steaming cup of coffee (though a little lip liner does help it survive a wee bit longer). But I really liked the full coverage, and how easily it glided onto my lips. And I loved that it wasn’t sticky or left a weird after taste in my mouth.

Of course it doesn’t hurt that it’s 100% natural. Did you know that women ingest up to 9 pounds of lip product in our lives? Yuck.

The only downside I’ve noticed so far? The stick doesn’t seem to absorb a lot of color on the first try, so I have to dip it back into the bottle and swipe a couple of times to get the look I want.

Print a coupon on their site for $2 off any lip color product through October 31st from Coupons.com. $7 for lip gloss? Yes, please.
