I’m one of those people that never feels quite put together unless my nails are done. It just adds the finishing, feminine touch to any outfit! I try to fit in a professional manicure when I can, but those times are getting few and far between. Sitting down to paint my nails myself has become quite the challenge at home. It never fails, the minute I start to paint, my child inevitably needs a diaper change. I cannot tell you how many times I walked out of the house with one hand painted.
I discovered Sally Hansen Insta-Dri earlier this year and it has become part of my nail arsenal. It really does dry almost instantly – and not just sort of dry – it’s hard to the touch in under a minute. And it only requires one coat! So in under three minutes I can have painted, DRY nails and am ready for the day (or any impending diaper changes). My nails are currently rocking Cinnasnap but my other go-to color is a soft pretty pink – Petal Pusher. I will warn that this color doesn’t stay long-term without a top-coat, but it’s great in a pinch if you’re running out the door to work. Just quickly paint your nails and then apply the topcoat for longevity when you get home in the evening.
Sally Hansen Insta-Dri retails for anywhere from $4-$5. I’ve found it at my local drugstore, Target, Walmart and even Ulta. I still rotate in other nail polish brands, but this brand has become my go-to for when I need a quick polish.
What a gorgeous color for wintertime! I enjoy using Sally Hansen Insta-Dri as well, especially when I’m in a rush.
xo Always, Abby
i love that it’s red but has a brownish tone 🙂
I have Insta-Dri in Slick Slate and it’s one of my favorite polishes!! Do you have a favorite top coat? I’m still on the hunt for one that works really well – I type all day and chase 3 kids so I need a hard-wearing top coat. I’m still searching for Mr. Right in that department!

I typically use OPI Nicole’s 3-in-1 base/topcoat/strengthener and it works decently well. The one thing with OPI topcoats is that they typically only last 1 year in the bottle (or they’ll start to bubble when you apply them), so replace them regularly!
Very pretty color and perfect for the season.
