Fresh Fall Fashion with Dryel

Fall is almost here and this mama couldn’t be more excited. I can almost smell the pumpkin spice and hear the crunch of the leaves beneath my boots. And the fashion! Sure, sweet summer frocks and white jeans are fun, but there’s something utterly delicious about slipping into the first sweaters of fall. Sweaters are just the sweet, warm hugs you can buy yourself and enjoy again and again.

Every mom needs a drapey cardigan in her wardrobe — if you don’t yet have one, invest today! Bloomingdales.

Here’s my only problem with sweaters, though: the dry cleaning bills. In the past, I would “save” my favorite soft woolens for truly “special” days or outfits, fearing I would “waste” one on a day that ended up ordinary, and having to pay mega bucks to get it cleaned for the next wearing. That was until I discovered Dryel.

Last fall I was super-pregnant -- I used Dryel on all of my favorite maternity knits to keep them in shape for the next go-round whenever that occurs. Photo: Born to be a Bride

Dryel is an easy-to-use, at-home cleaning system delicate enough for all your favorite pieces, including those beloved sweaters. Freshen up your fall wardrobe now, removing musty smells and back-of-the-closet wrinkles without having to shell out at the dry cleaner. All you need is 15-30 minutes and a bottle of this handy miracle. I’m going to tackle my heap this weekend and get everything folded and ready for the coming cool.

I wouldn't trust any other product with my favorite baby sweater.

Despite the outside temps, this is a great way to settle in to the feeling of fall — and I’m especially excited to use Dryel on my daughter’s tiny cashmere pieces to preserve them for babies to come (well, give me a few years on that…) I’ll also be using it on my husband’s weekend knits and all of my favorite dresses.

In the meantime, nab yourself a coupon for Dryel here and let us know how you like it!

This black-and-cream pullover by PinkBlush is another favorite. I can't wait to freshen it up and wear it in a few weeks!
