Drink This: Agave & Cinnamon Iced Coffee Cocktail

Everyone needs a signature drink for the holidays.
Whether you’re trimming the tree with family, glammin’ it up at a seasonal soiree or just sitting at home snuggled up under the blankets watching holiday movies, you need that perfect beverage to sip on.
What should you look for in a seasonal beverage? Seek a recipe that incorporates all the right flavors that are reflective of the season you are in. In the summer, we look for fruits. In the spring, we want florals. In autumn, our taste buds yearn for pumpkin and clove.
Now that it is winter, the ingredient of choice is cinnamon.
This Agave and Cinnamon Iced Coffee Cocktail is the perfect blend of seasonal spice, and, hello, one of the ingredients is coffee. Does it get much better than that? We think not. This cocktail is casual enough for an evening at home and classy enough to serve as the highlight drink at your holiday party.
Make sure to garnish cups with a cinnamon stick before serving. It’s so chic.

The Agave & Cinnamon Iced Coffee Cocktail



  • Three ¬†ounces of freshly brewed coffee, chilled
  • One ounce of coffee liqueur
  • 1/2 Agave nectar
  • One cinnamon stick
  • Two ice cubes
  • crushed ice


  1. Pour into a cocktail shaker chilled coffee, coffee liqueur, agave nectar and ice cubes.
  2. Shake vigorously for 30 seconds.
  3. Strain into a glass filled with crushed ice.
  4. Garnish with a cinnamon stick.
  5. Serve.
