How I wash my face

(Prepare to be underwhelmed.)

I’m very lazy when it comes to skincare and I pretty much use one main product:

step1

And that would be Proactiv’s Renewing Cleanser. I’ve been using it since I was in high school, lo these many years ago. I don’t even use their whole system; when I run out I order three cleansers as a special package (instead of the typical cleanser/toner/repairing lotion set one would normally get).

(Although I do have those other products and use them once in a blue moon.)

It is hands-down the best stuff for my face. I’ve tried other products and they don’t even compare, so I’ve just been sticking to what works for me. I LOVE a fresh-washed face in the morning.

I wash my eye makeup off with Dove frangrance-free sensitive soap and if there is any trace of black left, I use walmart’s version of L’Oriel’s eye makeup remover. (It’s very similar to its Lancome grandparent.)

For the occasional breakout, I’ll use Proactiv’s Advanced Blemish Treatment, which is very expensive, a teeny tube for $30, but you only need a pinhead amount and the tube lasts well over a year.

And during the winter when it’s dry, I use their Green Tea Moisturizer, which I’ve mentioned before.

Here’s to clean, happy faces!
