With every awards show emerges a new trend. While metallics were all the rage at this year’s Grammys, bright red stole the show at the Emmys on Sunday night.
viaKate Winslet covered up in a perfectly tailored cap-sleeve Elie Saab while Adrianne Palicki went for a more form fitting silouette. Lea Michele’s Marchesa gown had a gorgeous back but I felt the front view was matronly and those shoulder pads did nothing for her small frame.
I loved that Nancy O’Neil added a punch of turquoise to her red attire, although her hair seemed a bit ‘over-teased’. Giuliana Rancic won me over in her choice of hairstyle with her Roberto Cavalli gown — chic and effortless.
But the real winner of the night to me was Nina Dobrev. Not only is she unbelievably gorgeous, but she completely rocked that Donna Karan dress!
