Colorful Chinos are a serious trend this fall, Ladies. And Land’s End has a fabulous line in all different fits and cuts. I got to pick up a pair and I went with the Fit 1 Stretch Boot-Cut Chino fit in Mustard. My favorite cut is a boot-cut and these sit below the natural waist, which I prefer. They fit really well – the cut is so flattering. Plus, with a hint of stretch, they are super comfortable. The pockets are perfect – they hit at just the right spot without adding extra bulk.
You know you want a pair, but wondering how to style them? Here’s how I styled mine for fall…
For work, if I wore chinos, a white blouse and a black blazer it could be pretty boring, right? But I paired my bright Boot-Cut Chinos with a ruffled blouse some chunky jewelry to jazz things up a bit. It is comfy for sitting in an office all day, but professional enough for a business meeting.
For a more casual work look, I break out my uniform camisole and cardigan with a statement necklace. I love how the chinos add a pop of color, as opposed to my usual blue jeans!
What about for a night out? I paired my chinos with a dressy silk camisole and heeled boots. This would totally work for the office, but the cami is a little dressier so I would probably save this for a night out!
For weekends or everyday, colorful chinos are perfect!! For a more conservative look, stick to something like this with black and white stripes.
For a bolder look that is totally on trend, go all brights!! I wasn’t sure about this look, but I think it ended up working!

Me too! I was think I would just wear them with a black sweater or something, but challenged myself to be more creative. It was surprising how many outfits I could put together with such a strong colored pant!

I wasn’t sure about the color at first, but after seeing them with all your different outfits I like it. I’d like to get a pair of colorful chinos for work, but think I’d have a hard time figuring out what shoes to wear with them that are comfortable enough for standing all day.
When I have to stand all day, I go straight for Naturalizer – they have some REALLY cute loafer-y ones right now that would be perfect for work with Land’s End chinos!
