3. Knee socks — because it’s okay to be a little ironic in your dressing, at least when your ‘tween isn’t around. 5. Ballet flats — for those mornings when heels just will not do. Great for wearing with tights and any length skirt, or just walking around your house in something other than slippers. 6. Shapers — the accessory no one needs to see, except in the form of your slim and sleek physique. Shapewear can be so pricy, but we found these awesome shaping tights for only $7 in three great colors at Macy’s.
7. Slippers — you’ll forgive us the 99 cents over $10 budget when your feet find comfort and warmth inside these cute slippers. Another Macy’s find, we can’t get over the cute array of colors. Now on sale for $10.99 from an original $30.
8. Faux fur infinity scarf — even if you have plenty of scarfs, we’re betting none are this lush and chic — and affordable! What an awesome find from Nordstrom at 50% off. David & Young twist faux fur infinity scarf in two colors, $10, Nordstrom.
9. Fun sunnies — are a win for winter, too. Try these oversized round ones with leopard detail. Just make sure to hide them from your daughters! $6, Forever 21.
10. A shiny, skinny belt — is perfect for pants, dresses, whatever! Cinch your waist and add fast polish to any ensemble with this shiny black belt featuring trend-right, gold-tone detail. $3.79, Asos.
