I was thrilled to be invited to a party at BlogHer at Ralph Lauren. And of course, my first thought was, "Oh my gosh, WHAT DO I WEAR?" While my kids and husband have various Ralph Lauren pieces, I do not. I might have a sweater somewhere… but nothing in the cocktail-attire arena. I had no idea what to wear. I wanted to look classically stylish, but still stay trendy. So what did I decide on?

Okay. I found one. But you have to ignore the nametag, blurry pic, bad lighting and scary red eyes, deal?)
The dress I wore was from Target. Yes, Target. No one believed me. Here is the dress (mine is in purple, which is so cute its sold out already). Jewel tones are one of the falls hottest trends, so this dress was perfect and at $24.99, the price was perfect too! My Ellington Hannah Clutch (in yellow – also a big trend) added a pop of color, while I went with classic black pumps which are really awesome, but really really uncomfortable. Wear at your own risk.
