Last week I had a few hours free in New York City. What to do?

My hotel was just across the square from a Filene's Basement, so I went in and spent a happy hour combing the racks of designer clothes. And I controlled myself and only made one purchase. A really, really nice purchase:

These jeans (Seven for All Mankind's Dojo) are fantabulous. And they make my butt look amazing, if I do say so myself! They were a little more than I usually spend of denim (Okay. A LOT more than I usually spend!), but with such a classic cut and color – for more than HALF OFF RETAIL – I could hardly resist! These will be in my closet for years.
