Sonia Kashuk Hidden Agenda Concealer Palette

So a few weeks ago, I was perusing Target’s online Daily Deals (You do check Target’s Daily Deals, right? Free shipping on a few select discounted items for one day only!) and one of the deals for this particular day was on a Sonia Kashuk Hidden Agenda Concealer Palette.

sonia kashuk concealerNow, I’m not big on buying makeup online. I always think it’s a risky move because I’m never sure the the color I see on screen will be the color I receive in real life. But it just so happened that I was in the market for a new concealer. And, at $5 (that was the Daily Deal price, the regular price is $10) and free shipping, I figured how could I go wrong?

Let me just say, it was the best five bucks I’ve ever spent. And I would have gladly paid full price for this palette, if I had to.

The palette has four pans — a light concealer, a medium concealer, a green-tinted concealer and a translucent setting powder. The light and medium concealer can be mixed to match your skin tone. For my olive-based skin, I find the medium concealer to be a perfect match as is. It does an excellent job of hiding some of the sun damage I’ve incurred over the years (read: brown spots). The green-tinted concealer works wonders on blemishes and neutralizes any areas of redness.

The palette used to come with two small brushes but, evidently, they have reworked the packaging and the brushes are no longer included. So, you’ll need a concealer brush for easy application. But overall, this palette is a home run. I’ve bought tons of concealers in the past — from Cover Girl to Clinique, Smashbox to Laura Mercier. This one beats them all. (Don’t just take my word for it — check out the 46 glowing reviews on Target.com)

Sonia Kashuk’s concealer palette is one of those rare “Holy Grail” finds that won’t bust your budget. It’s become a staple in my makeup bag. In fact, it’s a deal I’ve come to really appreciate. Daily.
