a pony tale.

As I stood in front my row of shirts and blouses one morning, a question popped into my head. Can I really pull off going to work without having to dry and straighten my hair? Cause let’s face it, at 5:30am, I’m not too ambitious.

The ponytail dilemma. It happens at least once a week in my world. Struggling to convince myself that it is possible to leave the house with a rubber band in my hair and still look put together.

So what’s the trick in this situation?

First, know that throwing your hair back in a ponytail has its advantages. It can not only showcase a fancy neckline or fabulous earrings, but it helps keep fidgeting to a minimum. But be sure that you’re not just pulling your hair back in the sporty flip you rock at the gym. A classy ponytail looks effortless but sleek.

Adding some volume to your crown will frame your face as well as having your hair down.

If your hair isn’t quite open to adding more volume, simply pull a few strands loose around your face.

Part your hair on the side and pull your hair in a low side pony. Wrap a strand of hair around the hair elastic and pin in place. Add waves with a curling iron and your look is complete.
