Shimmer Me Happy

I was racing through Target one day when I saw the Burt’s Bees Shimmer Trio package on an endcap. I was in need of some new lip balm, and I love colored lip balm to wear as an easy daily lip color. I had never tried any of Burt’s Bees lip products before, but I definitely like many other Burt’s Bees products. It was such a good value at $9.99 for three lip shimmers. How can you go wrong with that?

My kit included 3 of their most popular shades: Fig, Watermelon and Rhubarb. I am happy with all three shades. The Fig shade is a dark pinkish brownish shade. I probably wear this one the most. The watermelon is a pinkish lip color shade. It is the lightest of the three…works well when you don’t want much color. The Rhubarb is a brighter pinkish reddish color. I think I would like this color better in the summer when I have more color on my face. The lip balm has a peppermint scent with just a slight bit of tingle when you first put it on. I normally can’t stand that tingle. I hate lip plumpers just for that tingle reason. Not for me. These lip shimmers only have a slight bit of tingle, though, that goes away fairly quickly. I will take that slight tingle because I love the colors, the way they go on so smooth, the lasting color power of them and the inexpensive price.

The Burt’s Bees lip shimmers “Shimmer Me Happy”. I would highly recommend these as an inexpensive beauty product to add to your collection. 51i8mvbB00L__AA260_
