Valentine’s Day Gift Guide: Romantic Getaways (West Coast)

Las Vegas

I have two favorite hotels in Vegas, and they’re both conducive to a romantic weekend! Even if you don’t gamble, you’ll have a blast in Vegas if you love eating in amazing restaurants, seeing shows and shopping. We went there for a weekend last summer and we had a blast! First I recommend The Venetian Resort. It’s so romantic – you can even take a gondola ride through the canals inside. The rooms are totally gorgeous!

The Mandalay Bay Resort is also gorgeous (but a little pricier). I’d want to stay here for a week just so I could eat in all the fabulous restaurants! This is where we ate almost every night we were in Vegas (and this is my husband’s favorite place to stay in Vegas.)

San Diego

One of my favorite cities! To experience the city, stay in the Gaslamp Quarter at either the Manchester Grand Hyatt (which makes the best breakfast EVER) or the Hilton San Diego Gaslamp Quarter.  Or for a quieter, more resorty feel, try the Loews Coronado Bay Resort and Spa. Seriously. Could I move in here?

Napa Valley

What could be more ridiculously romantic than a wine country tour? There are loads of bed and breakfasts, or try a hotel like the Harvest Inn or La Residence.

Seattle

This is an amazing city that you could explore for days (or just hole up in Starbucks and drink coffee to your heart’s content)! Stay at the Hotel 1000 –  check out this amazing view! Super romantic!

Arizona

I’ve always wanted to go here. And with places to stay like the Hyatt Ranch Scottsdale Resort and Spa and the Loews Ventana Canyon Resort – how could you not want to go here? How gorgeous!
