I recently stayed at The Bellmoor Inn as part of the Delaware Beach Blogging event organized by Delaware Beach Families and Visit Southern Delaware.
The weather could not have been more perfect for the trip — a balmy 74 degrees with sunny blue skies. The Bellmoor Inn is unassuming on the outside, but inside it rivals some of the nicest hotels I’ve been to. The decor was formal without being stuffy and beachy without being corny.

We didn’t spend a lot of time at the hotel, as our schedule was jam packed with fun activities. There’s lots to do in Rehoboth, aside from sunning oneself on the beach.

Shopping the boutiques in Downtown Rehoboth was a treat, as was the dinner at local brewery, Dogfish Head. There’s also outlet shopping nearby at the Tanger Outlets.
The boardwalk was deserted when I visited it at 7:30 am, but I’m sure it’s a bustling venue in the afternoons and evenings.

A perk to staying at the Bellmoor is their full breakfast, included in your room rate. This is no measly continental breakfast — there was an omelet bar, granola and yogurt station, bacon and sausage, and a huge selection of fabulous baked goods.

The setting is lovely as well. You can dine inside or on the cheery sunporch or outside in the gardens, weather permitting.

We also toured their deluxe suites — perfect for a romantic getaway, and the Gardener’s Cottage — an ideal setting for a larger family. There’s no doubt about it, for a luxurious hotel stay at Rehoboth Beach, The Bellmoor is the place to be. Check them out for your next trip to the Delaware beach.
Disclosure: Participating bloggers received a complimentary night at the Bellmoor as well as discount coupons and gift bags from the sponsors — Cake Break, Fenwick Winery, Dogfish Head Brewings & Eats, Tanger Outlets, Browseabout, Snyder’s Candy, Nicola’s, Movies at Midway, The Point Coffeehouse, and Atlantic Liquors. Special thanks to Mel and Aubrey and Scott for making this weekend possible.
