Easter Decorating Ideas

We’re hosting Easter dinner at our place this year, which is a wonderful excuse to look for creative decorating ideas! Here are a few of my favorites:

1. Tulip Egg Basket

This is perhaps my very favorite idea I’ve seen, from Martha Stewart. Its simply a perfect addition to a springtime dinner table! And super simple – catch the tutorial here! And I am totally doing small bowls of color coordinated jellybeans on whatever table I end up doing. Its a perfect touch – and I loooove jelly beans!

2. Simply Spring

I love this idea from Martha Stewart. Love love love. Actually, I probably will do some version of this. And how easy! Just two bunches of flowers and coordinating baskets of eggs on the mantle. Perfection! And so affordable – with either real eggs (or some nice fake ones from Michael’s) and just two bunches of flowers (which I can score at my local farmers market for just a few dollars) I’ll be in business.

3. Swap in Fresh Colors

Why didn’t I think of that? Simply swap your winter (or white) candles for pastels and you’re in business! I love the addition of the flower petals to these pillars from Williams Sonoma. So simple, but so springy!

4. Flowers, Flowers, Flowers.

What could possibly be more spring? This table, from Real Simple, truly brings spring indoors! Its perfect if your style isn’t pastels.

5. Don’t be afraid of brights!

I love this brunch table by TomKat Studio. It is so fresh and energizing!
