Subtle Color for Your Face

So at last check, we were blinded by my legs. Today, let’s talk about adding a little color to my face!

No, not THAT kind of color.

While I was looking for the gradual tan lotion, I also came across Olay Total Effects Touch of Sun Cream for my face. I needed more moisturizer, and I usually use Olay Total Effects anyway, plus it was on sale… it was kind of a no-brainer. Into the cart it went.

Image from Target.com, where I see this product is still on sale! YES!

I have to say – this product is a TOTAL WIN. It’s part of their Total Effects line, which I already love, so the moisturizer portion of the product is great. The color is very subtle, but it actually makes me “tan” enough that I don’t really need to wear foundation. I add a little powder and blush, then I call it good. It looks so natural, not at all orange, and best of all it smells awesome!

My only complaint is that it doesn’t contain any sort of sunscreen. They have a formula that contains SPF 15, so I’m curious to know why they wouldn’t include that in this product. Seems to me that someone who uses a self-tan moisturizer is possibly mindful of how much sun exposure she gets… or maybe that’s just me. ANYWAY. I have other ways of getting the SPF, so it’s definitely not a deal-breaker for me.

Thanks, Olay, for getting a self-tanning product right!

Disclosure: Bought with my own dollars. Opinions my own. Yadda yadda.
