Downy Unstopables, available in two scents. Image via Procter & Gamble's press release.

It’s Downy Unstopables, an in-wash scent booster for your laundry. I have some towels that have, quite frankly, seen better days. While I’m waiting for my new-towels-to-be to go on sale, I decided to try this stuff out. It works SO great. It took the funk right out of my towels and breathed a little bit of new life into them! I tried it on my flannel sheets that have, ahem, been sitting on my basement floor since March (what, I’ve been busy!)… and it’s like they’re brand new again. The scent is pleasant without being overwhelming (I was provided a sample in the Fresh scent – the green one). You can put in a few pellets, you can use a whole cap – it really depends how much scent you want to add to your items.

I personally can’t imagine using this on everyday clothing, but I think it’s great for towels and bed linens. Or maybe on your smelliest workout clothes…

Downy Unstopables will be in stores next month, but you heard it here first – this is DEFINITELY a product I will add to my shopping list.

I am a member of Vocalpoint and received a free sample of Downy Unstopables. I wasn’t asked to post this review, but I like it so much that I thought you should know about it. As usual, all opinions are my own. Come on, now. You know me better than that! 😉
