Express: New Arrivals

I have a love-hate relationship with Express in pretty much the same way that I have one with Old Navy. It seems that when I visit, I either absolutely LOVE everything, or I absolutely LOATHE everything. Do you have a store {or three} like that, or is it just me? Please tell me it’s not just me.

Anyway – I was doing some clothing perusing the other day and I came across Express’ New Arrivals, and whadya know? This is a LOVE IT season for them.

Some of my absolute favorites {click the pics to visit each piece}:

I love the comfy look of this sweater. I also love that it’s not body-hugging. Because, you know, we’re not all built like that model.

I’m not so sure that there’s anything in this world more classic than the Peacoat. And I love a great Peacoat. I particularly enjoy that this one doesn’t look like a potato sack – there’s shape to it which is slimming, and I’m loving the button detail.

Ready to get back in to the flair trend? These jeans would work splendidly! They have a higher rise – which is nice if you want to look more sophisticated than Britney Spears; and I think you do – and the wash is perfect.

These wedge ankle boots are just splendid. They’re not break-your-neck-high and they’ll go with just about every cut of jeans/pants. What’s not to love?

Have you checked out the New Arrivals at your favorite stores lately? It’s the best way to get a preview on trends and great pieces for the upcoming seasons!
