Give Pink Get More at Bloomingdales

Last week Melissa and I co-hosted a fashion event with our local Bloomingdales during their annual PINK campaign to support the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. We mingled over pink cocktails and sweets, received complimentary mini-makeovers, and then we all enjoyed a fall fashion presentation.

I love how Bloomingdales gives back a portion of their proceeds to the BCRF. Since their partnership in 2005, Bloomingdales has donated over 3 million dollars for breast cancer research, and a big part of that comes from their Give Pink Get More promotion during the month of October. Here are the deets:

On the night of the event, we were eligible to receive 15% off our purchases over $300, and 20% off if we used a Bloomingdales card. I eagerly put that deal to good use with two investment pieces to add to my fall/winter wardrobe.

The dress is by Ali Ro, and it’s such an awesome piece to dress up or down for special events. The rust-colored sweater from Free People was calling my name the second I saw it. I love orange, and I’ve been wanting some more color in my wardrobe. I think I managed to find that!!

There are a lot of great sales going on right now at Bloomingdales in addition to the Give Pink Get More promotion, making this a super time to shop and beef up your winter wardrobe. So go forth and shop!
