Q-Tips Precision Tips: Must Have Tool

Q-tips are a staple in my bathroom. So, trying out new Q-tips Precision Tips was so fun. They have these great tapered tips that make them a breeze to use!

These new Q-tips are incredibly useful – much more so than regular Q-tips. I mainly used Q-tips for fixing botched manicures and for fixing makeup mess-ups. (Or am I the only one who tends to sneeze right after I put on mascara?) But these new precision tops are an amazing tool to have in your makeup arsenal. My favorite uses?

  • Perfecting your Manicure :: The precision tip allows you to fix mistakes without adding fuzz to your not-quite-dry mani. My nails look professionally done (and that is not usually the case – believe me!). Amazing. Nail Salons everywhere are going to want these!!
  • Dramatic Eyes :: Dip the tip of the Q-tip Precision tip swab in water, then dab in your favorite shadow. Voilá! You have eyeliner! Cover the eye with your color, then use the wet eyeshadow to add a darker sweep of color along the lash line and – if you’re feeling really dramatic – under lower lashes as well. This is also a great trick when traveling to lighten up your makeup bag or when you want to test out a new color without having to splurge on new eyeliner.
  • Brighten Up :: Use Q-tip Precision Tip Swabs to add a bit of highlighter to the inner corners of eyes to look more wide awake and brighten your whole appearance! (This is favorite trick of tired moms everywhere!)
  • Fill in Brows :: Full brows are right on trend – if you’re not blessed with them naturally, just dip the tip of the Q-tip Precision tip swab in shadow and use to fill in sparse brows. The precision tip allows you to get a natural looking brow.
