Back to School with Land’s End

Its time for back to school! (Anyone else half sad, half ready to go cartwheels? No? Just me?) For us, Back to School always means a stop at Land’s End! I was thrilled to attend an eventrecently hosted by Land’s End and MomTrends – we got to take a sneak peek at everything new at Land’s End from their backpacks for the season to the fabulous plus size styles for fall!

So lets take a look at all the best looks for back to school!

Well, we can’t write about Land’s End Back to School without the obvious… Backpacks. Lands End backpacks are the best. Period. It’s all I buy for my kids – I’ve tried other brands and nothing compares to Lands End for quality and durability. I simply wont waste my money on backpacks that can’t last through everything kids can dish out.

This year the styles are super colorful, favoring the bright palette we’ve been seeing all over fashion this past year, with loads of pattern thrown in.  Personally, I love the bright chevron pattern in this one! In a huge display of backpacks, my eye was instantly drawn to this one!

Clothes are also picking up on the bright trend. Girls’ Back to School looks are fun dresses, colored denim and ruffled skirts with bright, patterned tights.

Boys’ Back to School trends are cool and comfy layers with those classic cargo pants that are perfect for hiding treasures for Mom to find while she is doing laundry. ( Hopefully nothing alive!)

Boat shoes are adorable for non-gym days. They super comfy and casual, but won’t slip off on the monkey bars. But these are so adorable that I wish my feet weren’t so gigantic so I could squeeze into them!

Now… What about mom? We need some back to school clothes too! Land’s End has perfect fall dresses this season. I love this sheath with three-quarter sleeves. Could be worn anywhere from the office to a wedding, with just a change of shoes!

And mama needs a new ‘backpack’ too, don’t you think? This is fabulous!

Thanks to Land’s End and MomTrends for hosting such a great event! Hurry up, fall!! Now I want to wear layers and boots and sweaters!!
