Under Armour: What is Beautiful?

We are big Under Armour fans here at All Things Chic.

And we are even bigger fans of their What is Beautiful Campaign which encourages women to share their fitness journeys and receive motivation, free gear and support from Under Armour along the way. Under Armour is dedicated towards the empowerment of women and refining the beauty of women – its not about being skinny. Its about being healthy.

In taking the step to take care of yourself and be healthy. To take the time – every week – to invest in your health. To push yourself to meet your goals – whether its running a marathon or taking the baby for a walk a few times a week and slowly working off the baby weight.

Its not pretty, folks. If I ever showed up at my gym dressed in cute clothes with make up on, they’d probably turn me away because I look nothing like my membership card. The gym is for my workout clothes, sneakers and ponytails.
No makeup. No jewelry. No trends.
Just me against the track. Or me against the machine.
Its not always pretty, indeed it is not. But it is beautiful.
I do not love exercise – its a chore for me – so my goal is just to get there and get moving. I’m slowly, slowly seeing progress. But its progress. I’m determined not to give up and to keep carving this time for myself out of my week.

My goal? To workout every day for a month. I have no idea if I will be able to manage this – I’m struggling with 3 times a week. But I want to up things up and really go for it!

Go work up a sweat. And be beautiful.

Go to the What is Beautiful Campaign, share a fitness goal. This amazing community is growing by the minute and the women in the challenge are seriously bringing it. Check them out! Set your own goal. Crush it. And the 10 women with the most epic journeys will win a trip to Florida to the Under Armour Women’s Camp Sweat where you will train with the best.
