The stocking stuffers I want and the stocking stuffers I end up with are usually completely different things. Some times I think “Santa” forgets that I am a “girl”.
Ten Stocking Stuffers that Have Happy Written All Over Them
In no particular order here are stuffers that make me especially happy. Hope you are reading Santa!
Nail Polish
Individual full size nail polishes, O.P.I. gifts sets or Sally Hansen Salon Effects all make great stocking stuffers. My favorite color this season is cobalt blue but I am always fond of almost any shade of red.
Hair Tinsel
Silver and a fancy fancy blue (or pink). My favorite comes from Hair Flairs and are pretty inexpensive. They also have feathers and color rub.
Fancy Hair Clips
Yes, even bobby pins would be fun but fancy clips to keep my hair off my face or keep me from grabbing the scrunchie when I need to run out to the grocer are even better.
Post-It Notes
Ok, I realize this is not necessarily a girlie thing but I would be lost without them and I am a bit of a horder when it comes to Post-Its. At the moment most of the ones I have are the traditional yellow, blue, and orange. I would love some exotic shapes and colors to put my reminders on but seriously, any kind of Post-It will do (the real thing too because imitations do not hold their stick as long).
Lip Gloss/Stick
Seriously, do we ever have enough? NO. That is because we either lose them in the pit that is our purse or they fall out of our pockets while we are out and about. Besides that, it is more hygienic to discard them regularly — so we need lots of replacements. Lips gloss is only a quick trip to the pharmacy away.
Perfume / Body Spray
It definitely fits in a stocking. If you are anything like me you have probably worn the same scent for ten years. It does not have to be super expensive but it would be nice if Santa would would absorb the cost. A new scent is fine as long as it is not the stuff gramma wears!
iPad
I know it is a bit expensive for a stocking gift but I covet a 64 GB iPad and not a mini either. If I wanted a mini I would get a Playbook, it’s cheaper. Don’t much care if it is black or white. Do they make them in blue? That would be cool and I might squeal a little. “Hello? Apple Santa? Are you there?”
Jewellery
I am not a big jewellery person. For the most part all you will see me wearing are my gold hoops and my wedding band. BUT, I am not opposed to some really cute cocktail rings of the animal variety when I am in an extra fun mood.
Chocolate
I come from the standpoint that there is no such thing as too much chocolate. It is not like it goes bad. Turtle anyone?
Hand Lotion
Tubes of hand lotion, especially Aveeno or Glysomed which combat winter weather hands, make wonderful stocking stuffers and I always appreciate them.
