Just because you are plus size does not mean you cannot wear a sweater dress. It is just a matter of finding the right dress for you. I am not going to tell you how to look slimmer in a sweater dress, I do not swing that way. But I will tell you the best looks come from how you wear them. In my opinion, the best sweater dress looks include one or some combination of the following: thick or thin belt, statement necklace or scarf, opaque tights and boots. Of course a good fit is also important but part of a good fit is being open to upping your size if need be to get the most comfortable fit for you. If you are into figure hugging sweater dresses good for you (rock it!). I prefer mine a bit loose and am not above going a size up to get it to hang right — do not be a prisoner to the number on the tag.
