AgeDefy Hair Makeover with Pantene

Its that time of year. When I get sick of my hair and decide I want a change. Occasionally, this has resulted in drastic chopping. Occasionally, a new color. Occasionally, both.

I’m extreme like that. So when Pantene challenged me to do something with my hair that would turn back the clock, it was pretty obvious what I needed to do!

For the last year or so, I’ve been wearing my hair long, straight and ombre!

I loved it. It was really fun this summer. But it was just too long. My hair just isn’t like it used to be – the ends tend to get dried out and I’m much more prone to breaking and split ends. So I feel like I can only have it so long before it looks straggley (which is totally a word). It was time for a change.

I decided to give it a good chop and change things up a bit. I got a cut that’s about 3 inches shorter,  a little softer – with long bangs in the front – and went with a light ash brown color for winter. I’ve been wearing it a bit wavy, too. I think this looks so much healthier, don’t you?

For the past week or so, I’ve been using Pantene AgeDefy Shampoo ($8.99) and Pantene Agedefy Conditioner ($8.99) and so far liking what I see. My hair is really clean, moisturized with out being heavy and my color looks fabulous! I’ve also been adding in the Pantene AgeDefy Rejuvenating Hydration Hair Masque ($12.99) every 3 days to keep the end of my long hair healthy.

But by far, my favorite new product  I’ve discovered in YEARS is Pantene AgeDefy Advanced Thickening Treatment, ($18.99). Holy cow, you guys, this stuff is amazing. I’m so glad  that Pantene challenged me to get out of my hair rut. I’m so busy – especially around the holidays – and I never would have taken the time to make a change! But I love it  – its perfect for winter, I feel better and I think my hair looks so much younger and healthier!
