Honoring my Mom Tribe with March of Dimes

This year around Mother’s Day, I’m honoring my tribe. Who is in your Mom Tribe? My tribe is vital to my survival as a mom and as a woman. I juggle my three kids, my husband, my home, my work, my blog, my dog, my volunteering, my family… and its nearly impossible to juggle all of that by myself. Like many lucky women out there, I have a tribe of women who have my back – they help me out with everything from babysitting to carpooling to advice to a treausred night out when I need it!

When I was asked to host a little get together for March of Dimes, it was a no brainer. I wanted to honor some of the incredible women in my life who I can’t live without by throwing them a special brunch the week of Mother’s Day!

 

I’m not the only mom who can’t do it alone. 1 in 9 babies in the United States are born prematurely and over 15 million premature babies are born worldwide every year. But these moms aren’t alone, thanks to the tireless work of March of Dimes! For over 75 years, the March of Dimes has helped babies be born strong and healthy through research, vaccines, education and breakthroughs. They’ve helped countless babies and their families.

The March of Dimes #imbornto campaign this year celebrates the great things babies are born to do and thanks mothers and fathers who are the guardians and protectors of babies’ hopes and dreams. I am honored to join the March of Dimes as one of 39 mothers helping to spread awareness about the #imbornto campaign, raising money to support the wonderful work they do to help women achieve 39 weeks of healthy pregnancy!

My tribe was treated to a yummy brunch and some amazing goodies from March of Dimes retail partners that supporting their work this year!

We had SO much fun sharing these darling gifts! Grandma-to-be Kim took a pink Alex & Ani Special Delivery bracelet for her expecting daughter – and a few of these Mud Pie adorable socks for her new granddaughter! (She has two grandsons, so this recent gender reveal was VERY exciting – I think she took the pinkest, girliest socks in the lot!) New mom Annie chose the blue Alex & Ani Special Delivery bracelet – in honor of her three boys! Laura, who has a premie of her own, loved the A&E Jewelers “Healthy Beginnings” pendant.
