I always tend to fall back on my style preferences when choosing an outfit for date night, but every once in a while, I branch out into something unexpected. If date night isn’t the time to experiment with your look, then when can you? This printed dress from Shabby Apple was perfect for a quick date at the local wine bar with my husband.
I love the tassel detailing along the neck – it’s so unexpected! This dress hugs in all the right places and is amazingly comfortable. The only issue I have is that it’s a bit long on me (I’m only 5’3″!) and so I will most likely take the hem up an inch so it hits above my knee. I paired the Medina dress with these open-toed booties, but could definitely have dressed it down with sandals to attend a summer lunch or backyard picnic.
