I’m a mom, so quick and easy hairstyles are a must! I haven’t given in to chopping my hair off yet, I still wear it a little longer (hey, I’m 31, there’s time!) My hair is naturally pretty straight but it does have a little wave to it, especially right after I have my layers freshly cut. I tend to curl the ends of it before I head to work or out to dinner, just to give it a little more body. My routine is pretty standard – mousse, regular curling iron and then some hairspray for hold.
…and then I got to try this gem:

I would say this takes about the same amount of time as using a regular curling iron, but again, it’s more automated (less work for you!) and the results are more consistent. I did have to play around with how I held the tool in order to get the curls going away from my face on both sides. And you can’t put a price on having fingers that aren’t burnt. My curls held relatively well with hairspray – they did come out a little more springy than I typically like, but I just ran my fingers through them for the perfect beachy wave. See?

But I’m not done yet…
I regularly wake up with that dreaded kink from my ponytail elastic. You know, the one that makes you look like you slept with a helmet on? With two little ones running around in the mornings, washing and drying my hair isn’t an option!
