This Dove is better than ice cream.

I went to take a shower this morning, knowing in the back of my mind that my body wash had been turned upside down for several days now.  Being the eternal optimist that I am, I knew I could squeeze one more wash worth out of it or, if necessary, I could pry the top off and stick my finger in to get enough before throwing it out.

Imagine my surprise and delight when I looked down and saw this:

A heavy bottle of Dove Body Wash, Deep Moisture. I didn’t immediately care about the details. I was just happy it was full. It appeared as though Mom had forgotten to check the shower before she drove home. Score.

So I used it. Rather liberally, I might add. (Sorry, Mom). It certainly smelled clean. Then, when I got out of the shower, it seemed as though this body wash may have had the potential to actually live up to its promise to "indulge your skin, not merely your senses".

So I tried a little experiment. I put lotion on only one leg before I got dressed. Of course, I promptly forgot which leg had the lotion. At first I was alarmed. Oh no! How will I know…? And then I grew a brain and realized that if I can’t tell the difference by the end of the day, then this is a good product. If, on the other hand, I can scratch my initials below my knee cap on either leg, then I could send that wash right on back to Mom (and go shopping for new lotion, might I add).

I’m pleased to report that just before bed, I couldn’t tell which leg has the lotion and which one didn’t. No ash. Score again.

Nester here, and I too, will testify to the fact that when I used that Dove body wash that our mom had left in the shower (when I visited my sister), I wanted to use it over and over again and smell it and fill up the tub with it and bathe in it and put it on top of my ice cream.  This stuff is heaven!  And pretty cheap too considering the fact that we paid nothing for it.
