I “suffer” from curly, frizzy hair. Yes,
I know that those of you with stick-straight hair would spend long
hours in a hair salon chair to have the curls that I have, but trust me. It has its disadvantages too! Especially during the humid summer months, my hair turns into a frizz ball anytime the humidity goes above 15%.
Through the years, I have found various products that help my curly locks look great. But, alas, every time I find one that I love, the product is changed or discontinued. I am keeping my fingers crossed that this product stays on the market for a l-o-n-g time!
Enter Sunsilk Captivating Curls Gel & Cream Twist.

It is lighter than a gel, heavier than a mousse. It doesn’t leave your curls feeling crunchy. It helps contain the frizz, and it gives great bounce to your curls!
I don’t always have time to blow dry my hair, so the true test of a product is how it dries on wet hair. After my hair air dries, all I have to do is finger comb and I have soft, controlled curls. For a “look,” all I have to do is spritz a little hairspray.
On days that I do have time to blow dry, I apply the product, use the diffuser, and I have almost ringlet quality curls. Finish with hairspray.
I love Sunsilk Captivating Curls Gel & Cream Twist! I really delivers the curls and the frizz control. SunSilk, please do not discontinue this product!!

I love Sunsilk products! I have used their curls line of products and have been experimenting with the waves line lately too. I am also hoping that they keeps these around for a long, long time!
Great recommendation! Can’t wait to try it on my daughter’s super curly hair. Thanks!
I’m totally going to try this on my daughter’s curly hair! You curly headed girls are so lucky (from my vantage point, anyway.)
Oh my gosh–yes!! People are jealous, but the straight look has been in so long.
I used to have nice wave and body that a stylist could coax into curls with a diffuser. Two kids later, it is curly!
I used to be able to dry it with a bit of product and have body, but now I get a mane (like a lion). So, I either have to dry and straighten in some way, OR I just let it dry curly on its own. I’ve not found a product I love, so I’ll try this out.
Great post! I’m always looking for curly hair stuff, as my daughters and I are blessed with loads of curls.
We have found and are very happy with MopTop hair products. http://moptophair.com/
Yay for a free sample!
