Guest Blogger: Shannon on Clearskin Immediate Response Spot Treatment

Shannon River resides in Colorado and is currently going to college
full time at Colorado University. In her spare time, you know, that
whole minute she has between classes and homework, she takes care of
her disabled husband and their domestic zoo. They have 3 cockatiels, 3
ferrets, 3 cats and 1 gerbil.  She blogs at The Shannon River.

Okay, here’s the deal. Or some of it anyway. I was once a teenager. I
had beautiful, mostly clear skin. I would break out maybe twice a year,
and when I did I would cunningly blame it on practicing my flute too
much. (I would break out around my chin.) My dad had the gall to ask me
"When are you going to get any pimples?" Oh Dad, you don’t know…
*shakes head*

Because when I was about 25… it began. My hormones are haywire
and I’m breakout city all the time. This is ridiculous. I’ve looked
long and hard for things that will help. I’ve tried using tea tree oil,
witch hazel, and any other thing I could put my hands on to try. I’m
happy to say I finally found something that actually does work for me —
Clearskin ® Immediate Response Spot Treatment.

I still have my breakouts dagnabit, but as the directions say, put
a dab on when you feel a breakout and it will significantly reduce the
pimple. It really does that!! I’ve had pimples that I know would’ve
lasted for many suns, maybe even many moons, but this stuff really does cut waaaaay down on the breakout time.

And the price is well worth a try.  That’s the best part. The salicylic acid may
not work for your acne, but at least the cost doesn’t make you weep
gently, holding the defunct product and staring at yourself in the
mirror.

  4. Thanks for the tip– I hate spending a ton of money for something that’s not going to work, but if it’s cheap, it’s worth a try.
