Olay Daily Facials Wet Cleansing Cloths

Have y’all tried Olay Facial Cleansing Cloths yet?  No?  Go quick and buy some, I’ll wait…

..back?  You’re quick! 😉

Olay Daily Facials

Those hardly cost anything did they?!  And they’re available in practically every large discount store (Target, Walmart, Walgreens, CVS).  They’re less than $7 for a package of 30 pre-moistened cleansing cloths.  And let me tell ya, they are worth every penny!  They come in a resealable package so they never dry out.  I use a deep cleansing oil first before using these (I’ll post about my deep cleansing oil soon, so stay tuned for a post about that, mmmkay?).

Back to the cleansing cloths… these are seriously a great way to remove makeup without mucking up your pretty washcloths.  You can remove your eye makeup with them but I don’t recommend that.  There are lots of great options for eye makeup removal (we want to baby ours eye area cuz it ages so darn quick!).

If you don’t use a deep cleansing oil before using the cloths and you wear quite a bit of makeup (foundation, primarily) then you may find that you need two cloths to get your face thoroughly clean. Don’t forget to use use them on your neck are too!

I use these on the nights I don’t take a shower before bed.  I normally have combination to oily-ish skin, but I buy the ones that are for "all skin types" and have had no problems with my skin breaking out.

I haven’t tried any of other pre-moistened brands yet.  I keep meaning to, but Olay always goes on sale, and well, I’m all about the sale!  So tell me, have you tried Olay cleansing cloths or another brand of pre-moistened cloths?  Do share!  What do you like, what do you dislike?

  1. I like the purity of soap (well, cleanser) and water most nights, but I did get a sample of these somewhere once and really liked the way they left my face feeling. Maybe I’ll invest in some for my upcoming hospital stay. And heaven knows they’d be nice during newbornhood, when even face-washing becomes an unheard-of luxury for a few months!

  2. I usually use a bottled product when at home but love to take these pre-moistened cloths when I travel. They NEVER spill in my suitcase and always make it through airport security!

  3. I use these occasionally, and when I’m done, I flip it over and wipe off the sink and counter-top, too! I don’t wear much make-up, so they’re not saturated with goo. And it makes the (bi)weekly bathroom cleaning much easier!

  4. Going to get some to pack for the hospital!
