**UPDATE** Congratulations LEANNA, your lucky number was picked from random.org. Please email me at melsboxofchocolates@gmail.com with your address so I can send your MeltAway Stress Lotion for you to enjoy during the busy holiday season. Thank you to all who entered the giveaway!!
During the winter I seem to always get dry and itchy skin. There is something about the cool air arriving and the moisture in me leaving. I do use hydrating lotions, but I have also tried different bath products hoping they would help moisturize as well.
I’m so excited to tell you that I finally found one that has!

Johnson’s Softwash is a 24 moisturizing wash that has soft, dissolving beads that exfoliates and leaves the skin feeling soft and smooth. My favorite part is the creamy lather that the softwash creates. After a week of using it, I have definitely noticed my skin feeling much more smooth and not felt nearly as itchy. Even my husband commented the other day about how my skin felt so smooth. That was a nice perk!
I also tried the Johnson’s Melt Away Stress moisturizing wash. I don’t know about you all, but I have noticed myself becoming quite anxious with everything happening around me from the economy to the election. Add that to the life of a working mom and I can easily be described as sometimes STRESSED. The Melt Away wash has the same creamy lather that I loved so much, but with "Aromasoothe" that calms the senses. The fragrance has a hint of chamomile and lavender sure to relax you. I found myself coming home in recent nights, doing the dinner thing, and then heading straight for the shower. There is just something calming about the fragrance, lather, and hot water. It is a wonderful, inexpensive treat!
Johnson’s also makes a Melt Away Stress Body Lotion and Dreamy Night Cream with the same relaxing fragrance. They both go on smooth and leave the skin feeling smooth without that horrible, greasy residue.
The great thing is with the Johnson’s name on it, you know that it will be gentle on your skin and safe for daily use. After all if we trust it for our baby’s skin, shouldn’t we treat our skin with the same kindness?
Would you like to try Johnson’s Melt Away Stress Body Lotion? Leave a comment sharing one way that you like to beat stress and on Friday, November 7th I will use random.org to draw the name of a lucky winner who will receive one 11oz bottle of the lotion. Good luck!
When Mel isn’t in the shower enjoying the lather you can find her talking about just about everything at A Box of Chocolates.

i would love to kick out stress!
When I am really stressed, I usually lose myself in my knitting.
When I’m stressed, I get lots of kisses and hugs from my kids to remind me of what is really important.
When I’m stressed I take a brisk walk to clear the air and find new insights. It’s important to breathe. Sometimes a bubble bath is the ultimate treat.

When I am stressed I like to go lay down and read a good book.
I beat stress with candles and a bubble bath!Okay, but the bubbles sometimes give me a yeast infection but it’s nice at the time.Haha! I shouldn’t be so honest, sorry.
I like a bowl of popcorn and an amusing video!
Merlot.
….just keepin it real. 😉
a glass of wine and a nice hot bath. i try to indulge one a week.
I love to sit in bed when the house is quiet at night and read a good book.
A hot cup of tea and an old episode of something, usually ‘Star Trek’ or ‘Hogan’s Heroes.’ I’m a big dork. 🙂
Oh my goodness, I have the itchiest skin in the winter!! For stress relief, I like to head out to Barnes & Noble, get a coffee and get lost in books and magazines for a couple of hours. Works like a charm!
I beat stress with a little time alone, maybe in the tub, maybe in bed with a good book, maybe with a glass of wine or a cup of coffee–depending on the time of day. A candle or soft music adds a lot.
I take a bubble bath! My favorite thing in the world. I never miss a night.
When stress hits, my dog and I take a long walk.
Taking a hot shower is one of my favorite ways. I get bad tension headaches, so the water helps ease some pressure on my neck.
I also like to read to get away from things.
I love to play a no-talent-required videogame like Guitar Hero, Rockband, or especially Singstar. Karaoke w.my friends always relieves stress!
When I am stressed I like to get in the car, blast the music and sing as loud as I can. Totally dork I know but it does help.
A good, intense workout helps the stress fade away for me! Or maybe a hot shower. Or a beer!
wow i love to try and win some my skin realy needs it and well its johnson’s the good stuff
After a stressful day I love a long warm bubble bath, this would be a perfect finish after my bath.
I wouldn’t mind a little stress-relief in a bottle.
This may sound weird, but having a good cry can help me relieve stress…so I’ll pop in “Steel Magnolias” or something equally girly, get to the sad parts, and just let it out. A really good massage has the same stress-reducing effect, but the movie treatment is free!
I use to beat stress with chocolate & diet Dr. Pepper, but gaining weight just added more stress. So now I go for a walk or head to the gym with free childcare. An hour with my favorite music on my ipod & childfree is a great way to end stress.
I beat stress by venting to my best friend over the phone!
