A few weeks ago I was visiting Stephanie at Metropolitan Mama, and I saw her review these ColorOn EyeEnvy Appliques. Immediately my Chic Critique radar went up, and I quickly commented about how fun they would be to try. So here I am, with an amateur video demonstrating EyeEnvy eye shadow appliques. (The key word in that sentence is amateur. The lighting is weird. SO sorry about that!)

I need to note that the first set of appliques I tried went on very dark — almost too dark. And it was quite sticky. The second set I tried (the one in the video) went on quite muted and soft. So when I warn you that it goes on dark, and then it goes on quite light — well, that is why!

    Interesting for sure. I would think this would be ultra helpful for women that don’t like to play around with eyeshadow but love the look.

    Avon had something like this that I saw awhile back, and it looked so cool to me, but was afraid it would look a little trashy-dark when it went on. After watching you do this, and seeing the results, I would definitely try these now 🙂

    That was fascinating. People are so imaginative, aren’t they? Not sure I’d shell out the bucks for this, but it definitely packs the Wow factor, doesn’t it?

    hmmm….love to try it. I’m am so not great at applying makeup, anything would/could help me.

    That is one of the coolest makeup thingys I’ve ever seen. I so need something like this. I am horrible when it comes to getting my eye makeup the way I want!

    I saw these earlier in the fall and was hoping you tried the leopard print ones in the video. Some of the designs are a bit out there for me but it could definitely shave a few minutes off my prep time for days when I’m putting on my best face.

    I totally need this because no matter how hard I try, I NEVER get my eyeshadow to look right. NEVER. I envy people like you who make it look so easy!
